10:49pm: hey all

You may remember a few days ago I asked for some prayers about me getting a chance to witness to two friends from work when we go to the drive-in. well that was supposed to happen tonite. It turns out we didn't go to the drive-in. we just went to get something to eat, and i didn't really have too many opportunities to witness to them. so after the restaurant we were on our way home and the other friend that was in the car wanted to go to the adult bookstore, so they decided to do that. when we got there I told them I will be staying in the car, I expected to be the only one left in the car, but one of my two co-workers decided to stay in the car with me. I explained to her why I wasn't going to go in, and then started to tell them about me going to mexico for my mission trip. she told me she respected my decision and I'm glad that there was some notice in my point, but I really wish I had better opportunities to witness. We ended the night there by going home.
It just saddens me that I didn't get a really good chance to witness to them the gospel of Christ. I just need some prayers that I will get more opportunities to witness to them. I believe they really look to me as a friend and I can't just go and not tell them the gospel. Please pray for me

So lately you're wondering who really cares to take Christ's grace
Well, Christ taught that seeds of new life get scattered on Earth's face
If a grain of wheat shall fall, yeah, fall upon good soil
In between the sand and stone, Good News makes that crop to grow

Yes, I've learned that Christ's word will grow wherever you will sow
Wait a while, hold out hope -- it grows wherever you will sow

And maybe you're fried now, afraid you've wasted bags of grain
You watered, you tried to do your darnedest, all in vain
If as great a faith as Paul's can follow after Saul
Then there's hope for someone out there who you think rejected you

Yes, I've learned that Christ's word will grow wherever you will sow
There's all kinds of ground of though -- it grows wherever you will sow
Some it may hit the rocks, some it may hit the road
Some it may hit the thorns

I know now there's dry ground but lives you love might still grow strong
Give their hearts some more time and state the truth for all mankind

Yes I've learned that Christ's word will grow wherever you will sow
We all cry, we'll shout though -- as Psalm 126 will show
We might return back cryin' -- God's word is never useless though
Read Isaiah 55 -- by verse 11 you will know
It grows wherever you will sow

In Christ,

1:54am: so today....
So today was pretty good.
Went to work.
Got home.
Met up with my good friends took a ride and went to a nice bonfire that some of our friends were having. We had some good fellowship there. My two friends Eb and Amo got to witness to two people we've been working with for a good bit. They also got to witness to the one person's uncle, so that is really great.
All I have to say is that spiritual warfare can be very tiring. I think we've all had our tough times. But I myself am guilty of not witnessing as much as I should. I pray that I will get more opportunities to witness to whoever God wants. It just can been seen that times are getting close.
I want to simply preach the truth of God's word. To preach the gospel of Christ Jesus our Savior and Lord, to preach the one true sound doctrine for our lives.
2 Tim. 4:1-5 (KJV)
I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; [2] Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. [3] For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; [4] And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. [5] But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

Only God knows, but I believe that we are definitely living in the Last Days before Christ's return.
It just hurts me to see even on tv, christian television, all of the men out there who are just out there to get money just to preach. Its all about the money.
- 2 Peter 2:3 --- In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.

Prophecy is a wonderful gift from God I believe.

10:16pm: first entry
So, I decided I needed something to record my thoughts on today, so I chose this.

Well lets see...
Today wasn't a particularly thrilling day, but it was okay.
I got up and went to work today. It was the same old deal.
I came home and was gonna do a study with some friends, but somethin came up so we're just gonna do our Bible study on friday like we normally do.
I got to do a little witnessing tonite, I still need to do a little reading in the Word tonite, probably gonna continue in Exodus like I've been reading.
It is really hot here, like I believe summer is finally here.
Tomorrow I'm prolly gonna go buy the new Medal of Honor game cuz I'm big on those games, cuz I like learning about the wars in history.
I pretty much have the rest of my Mexico mission trip money paid thru fundraisers so thats good. Only had to pay 450 of the total $850 cost. So thats pretty good. It makes me happy. Well, thats all I can really think of to talk about so I'll end it at this.

I'm out
